Full Description

{1} The southernmost and central field both displayed evidence for medieval ridge and furrow cultivation aligned roughly northeast to southwest.
Remnant furrows were noted in all trenches except trench 1. The furrows were orientated north east to south west; typical distances between the furrows were 4m and 5.5m. A sampled furrow in trench 4 indicated a width of 1.31m and around 0.25m deep.
