Abstract/Summary

Northamptonshire Archaeology was commissioned to undertake a geophysical survey and trial trenching evaluation on land at Barrington Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire. The geophysical survey revealed ridge and furrow and footpaths following a rectangular pattern in the northern field. The trial trenching confirmed the presence of the ridge and furrow and uncovered modern features in two trenches, possibly relating to its former use as an allotment. No other features of archaeological interest were discovered.
