Full Description

{1} The northern half of Field 5 was investigated, a total of 7.04ha. The scatters of medieval and post medieval pottery match the Romano-British pottery distribution pattern and like it, appear to derive from cultivation practice. A group of post medieval sherds at the western end of the field are probably associated with material dredged from the stream.
The entirity of Field 6 (5.24ha) was walked. However, only 5 sherds of medieval pottery were recovered, and 1 sherd of post medieval pottery.
