Full Description

{1} Two well-defined sub-circular postholes cut into the natural subsoil. The westernmost was c.0.4m wide x 0.25m deep with vertical sides and a slightly rounded base. The other was c.0.3m wide x 0.18m deep with steeply sloping sides and an uneven base. The latter posthole contained several large cobbles around its edges, indicative of post packing. No dating evidence was obtained from the features although it seems most likely that they were associated with former post medieval farm buildings on the site.
