Full Description
{1} Church of St Mary by Castle; in 1669 churchyard of St Mary lay immediately south of tenements which later became Dodderidge Church;
{2} The eastern boundary of the cemetery was recorded adjacent to Doddridge Street, it comprised a brick wall aligned north-south and extending beyond the site to the north. The wall was exposed for a length of 17m. The wall was founded on a concrete footing and is probably late 19th or early 20th century in date. The southern boundary was not located, although it probably lay along the line of the modern retaining wall that divides the site.
