Full Description

{2} Trial trenching of the site was undertaken. In Trench 42 was a substantial enclosure ditch which extended beyond the limit of the proposed development. No dateable finds were recovered from the ditch, but it is likely to be of a prehistoric date.

{3} Two ditches of Iron Age date were identified in the small excavation area.
