Full Description

{1} Probably amongst the earliest East Midlands ironstone quarries of the Victorian era to be worked on a commercial basis.

{2} One field only on 'The Farm', Hardingstone was quarried and this is bounded on the West side by The Warren and on the South by the Newport Pagnéll road. It was quarried when the land was still owned by Delapre Estates in the 19th century.
