Summary

Archaeological evaluation identified a number of ditches and gullies. There was very little evidence of occupation and it is likely that the ditches were evidence of agricultural use of the land over an extended period of time.

Full Description

{2} Archaeological trial trench excavation identified a number of historic agricultural features with a concentration of ditches and gullies in the west and north-west of the site. A limited number of Iron Age pottery sherds were found.
