Full Description

{1} Geophysical survey identified an anomaly which appeared to have thermoremnant origins. The XY traces indicate 'classic' kiln anomalies; a flue to the west and the kiln with walls surroudning a firing chamber in the east. It may have been used for pottery or tile making, although a brickyard is known to have existed to the west and this may be associated.
