Summary

Archaeological observation found a medieval ditch truncated by a post-medieval ditch. A stone lined drain was also found which is most likely post-medieval in date as well as a undated pit.

Full Description

{1} Archaeological observation in found evidence for a medieval ditch that is truncated by a post-medieval ditch. Sherds of medieval date were found in the post-medieval although there is a possibility that these sherds could be late iron age in date. A few animal bone fragments were recovered from the medieval ditch. A stone-lined drain was recorded to the south of the ditches and is believed to be post-medieval in date. A undated pit was found south of the drain.
