Summary

The lower portion of an adult inhumation was discovered at Abbot's Way in 1977. It is presumed that the burial is associated with St James' Abbey, although it is located over 150m west of the known cemetery.

Full Description

{1} Human burial was found at the bottom of the garden at 14 Abbot's Way c3ft down. The remains comprise the lower portion of an adult male. The right tibia had a badly healed fracture. The head is believed to lie beneath the garage. Animal bones were also found, but unknown if directly associated.
