Full Description
{1} Documentary references to the medieval field system of Hardingstone; it was in existence by 1583 and probably by 1220.
{2} The common fields of Hardingstone were enclosed by an Act of Parliament of 1765. The West End field system consisted of Mere, Moor, Radwell (alias grange), Long Haukway and Long Bromhill fields. SP761578. The East End field system consisted of Upper (alias Preston Hedge), Middle, Moor and Firedale fields.
