Summary

A small area of possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. The main irregular shaped enclosure is about 27metres across and to its west other linear ditches are visible which may form enclosures. These features may represent Iron Age or Roman settlement activity.

Full Description

{1} Cropmarks of two irregular enclosures and other possible ditches, though indistinct.

{2} A small are of possible enclosures are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. The main irregular shaped enclosure (centred at SP 99069 67678) is about 27metres across and to its west other linear ditches are visible which may form enclosures. These features may represent Iron Age or Roman settlement activity.
