Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking undertaken in January 1992 by Northamptonshire Archaeology Unit (Contracts). A slight concentration of flints was recovered from the centre of the field. Worked flints totalled 234, including a barbed and tanged arrowhead and four scrapers. Pottery found comprised Iron Age, Romano-British (478 sherds), Early Saxon and medieval sherds.

{3} Roman brooch, disc shaped with remains of green 'glass' centre boss, found 1989. SP795420.
