Full Description

{1} Late medieval postholes and slots found to east of dovecote; small quantities of late medieval and post medieval pottery were also recovered.

{2} Four postholes were identified; two contained late Saxon pottery and others medieval pottery.

{4} A small amount of late Saxon pottery and medieval activity was discovered during work at the possible manorial site to the south of Grove Street.
Late medieval features have been excavated at the Peverel Manor site.
