Description
{1} Trial excavation undertaken prior to the conversion of a dovecote for residential use and the construction of housing in Grove Street. Seven trial trenches were excavated at right angles to and parallel with Grove Street. Late medieval postholes and slots to the east of the 18th-century dovecote. No features to the west except at the street frontage where possible 19th-century houses once stood.
