Full Description
{1} Queen Edith's Cross (Name only on 6" maps). Removed some years ago (note written in 1969) to the garden of the Bell Inn (SP91377180). Now believed to have been broken up and used for hardcore for new car park. Queen Edith held the great soke of Finedon in the reign of Edward the Confessor.
{3} Remains of a village cross on the old village green, erected to Queen Edith, wife of Edward the Confessor.
