Full Description
{1} Also well-preserved are the fishponds.
{2} Fishponds (SP 591720), on the S side of the village, S of Boat Horse Lane on Middle Lias Clay at 140m above OD. Two rectangular depressions lying parallel to each other and 0.5m deep are probably medieval fishponds. There are traces of later ridge-and-furrow lying within them.
{3} The fishponds mentioned previously are north-west of furlong 137, and as noted in several other cases, contain ridge and furrow.
