Monument record 1160/262/1 - Possible medieval pits, St Peters Way

Pits, possibly medieval, noted in contractors trench. Natural geology was observed at a depth of 2.60m

{2}Sewer trench island on St Peters Way revealed pits & natural; says pottery found according to site notes;

{3}Various contractors' trenches examined; pits & walls noted & medieval pottery recovered; not sure whether came from this trench but states that road surfaces of medieval street were confined to eastern portion of area examined;,
