Full Description
{1} {2} {3} Finds from 1933 of a possible Saxon burial: a skeleton associated with a knife. The knife was said to have been of C7th date but has now been lost.
{4} A grave 3ft deep was "discovered in the vicinity of a small mound about which there has been much speculation".
{5} The burial has been connected with the mound nearby but this is unlikely.
{6} Northampton Museum have only a slight reference to this burial and do not hold the knife.
