Observation of building trenches in 1965 identified a ditch from which considerable quantities of Roman pottery were found.

Full Description
{2} At SP863878 a ditch, traceable for about 15m was found. It contained Roman pottery and animal bones associated with occupation debris including flue tiles, roofing tiles, iron slag and nails as well as a coin.
