Summary
Fieldwalking survey undertaken in 1991 identified a small amount of prehistoric worked flint and Roman and medieval pottery sherds. No significant concentrations were noted.

Full Description
{1} Fieldwalking survey undertaken in 1991. Field 5 covered about 8ha. The complete absence of Iron Age pottery and small amount of Roman pottery is significant in view of the reported finding of features of these periods in the field. The worked flint comprised 77 waste flakes and one scraper.
