Full Description

{1}Cellar and rubble including limestone blocks, bricks and rotted timber revealed from observation of pipeline trench. Building was undated, but appears to have been occupied in late post-medieval period (18th - 19th century) as indicated by types of brick that were present.,

{2}Newspaper article of Anglia Water changing old mains pipes down the High Street. Archaeological sites may be discovered in watching brief.,

{3}The laying of Anglia Water pipes disturbed no significant remains apart from the backfilled cellar of an 18th to 19th century building in the market place.
