Summary

Cropmarks of possible field boundaries have been identified on aerial photographs and unstratified Roman pottery was found during the construction of the farmhouse prior to 1978. Archaeological observation undertaken in 2018 during the construction of a new agricultural building identified a single gully, which contained Roman pottery dating to the 2nd-4th centuries AD.
