Full Description
{1}Three truncated pits (2/2, 2/3 and 2/4) contained 13th century pottery found in trench 2. Pits may lie in the backplots of medieval frontage of Hinton Road. This indicates that any medieval frontage on Hinton Road probably lay to the north.45 pottery sherds from these pits with the wide dating of pottery gives the latest possible date as 1400.
