Full Description

{1} Geophysics at either side of trench 14 showed where a possible ditch may continue the line of the droveway or track which extends throuh fields 1 and 2 (1641/0/11).
2 parallel ditches were found at the north end of trench 14. They followed the same orientation and may share the same alignment as the presumed road to the north east (1641/0/11) but any continuation further west was not found in trench 31. There was no evidence of metalling between the ditches.
A separate shallow ditch was located towards the centre of the trench where it ran south east to north west and was 0.85m wide and up to 0.15m deep.
