Description
{1} Archaeological evaluation has been undertaken for Whitworths Holdings Limited in order to provide information upon the extent, state of preservation and importance of any archaeological remains in the affected area. Fieldwork, involving non-destructive methods of investigation in addition to the excavation of trial trenches, was carried out between October 1990 and March 1991 by the Contracts Section of the Northamptonshire Archaeology Unit.
