Full Description

{1} Cartsheds. Early C19. Regular coursed limestone with slate roof. 3-bay range of cartsheds with haylofts over. Shallow brick arches with casement windows above. 2-window range of mid C19 stables to left and cartshed to right. Hipped and gabled roof. Single-storey C19 wing projects to far left. Included for group value.

{4} A split-level building comprising of a granary on the first floor approached from the old Hog Close and a cart shed on the ground floor approached from the farm yard. The building is constructed of coursed limestone with an orange coloured ferruginous stone to the old Hog Close elevation. The roof is of welsh slate and the three wagon arches and the walkway arch on the ground floor are constructed of brick. There are metal casement windows on the old Hog Close elevation and a first floor doorway from the granary into the farm yard. Mid nineteenth century. 19th century king-post and remains of grain bins in the granary, granary floor supported on timber uprights in the cart hsed, stair access from the old Hog Close to the cart shed.
