Full Description

{1} Cartsheds. Early C19. Regular coursed limestone with slate roof. 3-bay range of cartsheds with haylofts over. Shallow brick arches with casement windows above. 2-window range of mid C19 stables to left and cartshed to right. Hipped and gabled roof. Single-storey C19 wing projects to far left. Included for group value.

{4} A split level stone building with a central entrance at the Old Hog Close level but lacking windows. The farm yard elevation has two wood casement windows on each floor and a round-headed doorway with brick jambs in the corner of the yard. "Poor Man's" slating has been used on the roof and there is a brick chimney stack at the east end. Mid-nineteenth cnetury and contemporary with the granary/ cart shed.
