Full Description

{1} One pit and one gully found during trenching, undated and probably truncated during levelling of farmyard.

{2} One trench contained two undated features, a pit and a gully.

{3} Four possible features were examined, two of which proved to be of modern origin. The others were excavated and recorded, but no dating evidnece was recovered and it is posisble that they are also of recent date and associated with modern farm buildings. F1 was a shallow circular pit 0.44m x 0.42m x 0.8m deep; it is probable that this was truncated by subsequent levelling of the farmyard. F2 was the terminal of a shallow gully extending from the southern baulk of the trench. This was 0.48m in length and 0.28m wide, with a depth of 0.08m. It is probable that this also had been subject to truncation.
