Full Description

{1}Cobbled trackway was aligned east west. It was composed of tightly packed rounded ironstone blocks pitched on end and bedded in a fine sand and mortar above the natural. Along the outer south edge a single course of ironstone blocks may have represented the remains of a kerb.
