Full Description

{1} Ditches and associated Romano-British pot sherds.

{2} In the northern area of the evaluation were some ditches and gullies. Implication was that this area was outside the domestic area of the Roman town.

{3} Roman occupation with inhumation, possible Post-Medieval brickworks, evaluation by G Cadman.

{4} Further north in T1 were a series of cut features, possibly ditches or gullies, which produced Roman pottery. These were at a depth of c.0.5m below the ground surface.
