Summary
Geophysical survey identified a series of anomalies that were interpreted as possible prehistoric pits. Subsequent trial trench excavation did not identify any archaeological features in this location.

Full Description
{1} A series of linear anomalies are indicated in the geophysics plot. These may denote ditches although more likely to be the result of geological variation. A few individual isolated anomalies may indicate the likely presence of pits.
[2} No archaeological features were identified in this location during subsequent trial trench excavation.
