Summary

Possible archaeological features were identified during geophysical survey. Subsequent trial trench excavation indicated that at least one of the features had archaeological origin.

Full Description

{1} Several archaeological type anomalies were detected in the southern part of the survey area. The anomalies are not particularly strong and the interpretation is tentative.

{2} One of these features was excavated. The upper fill was thought to be archaeological and the two lower fills were thought to be 'clean' natural layers. Nothing more was discovered.
