Summary
Dispersed cropmarks of possible enclosures, linear cropmarks and possible ring ditches identified on aerial photographs. Fieldwalking surveys have recovered Roman pottery and a geophysical survey has indicated that the settlement is more complex than that suggested by the cropmark evidence.

Full Description
{1} Geophysical and fieldwalking surveys were undertaken in advance of possible development. The fieldwalking survey identified a significant concentration of Roman pottery in one of fields. The geophysical survey identified a large ring ditch [probably 19180/0/1] and a probable settlement complex comprising a rectilinear arrangement of enclosures immediately west of Ryebury Farm.
