Summary

Roman pottery was found when Cranford Park was ploughed in the 1960s. Further finds were identified during field survey. Cropmarks of enclosures and probable boundary ditches were identified on aerial photographs during the Northants NMP and may be associated.

{1} Finds of Romano-British pot sherds made at SP926773 when the park was ploughed up and re-seeded a few years ago.
