Monument record 2141 - Great Billing

Summary
Great Billing parish lies to the east of Northampton and prior to 20th century boundary changes covered an area of 561 hectares. The church lies to the west of the village and was formerly within the park of Billing Hall, perhaps suggesting the village has moved from an earlier site around the church. The area east of the church is, however, now built up and there is no indication in the area to the west of any village remains.
