Full Description

{1} This wood has a complex history and appears to have formerly consisted of a number of woods and assarts. The western end appears to have been a number of assarts known as Boughton Rys {3}. Part of the wood is referred to as the Wood of Warkton. The east end appears to have been a piece of detached woodland belonging to Barton Seagrave {4}.
