Summary
There is evidence of shrunken settlement in the grounds of Lamport Hall. The settlement was recorded in Domesday. Subsequent records show there were no marked falls in population up to 1801. Earthworks survives but are fragmentary and difficult to interpret. Features include two possible hollow-ways, a small enclosure and possible house sites.
