Full Description
{1} Settlement remains (SP 681 538). Behind existing houses are the remains of abandoned closes, some of which have ridge and furrow within them. The remains emphasise the unusual Medieval settlement
pattern in the parish which is divided between four discrete units: Pattishall [SP 65 SE 28], Astcote [SP 65 SE 6, 29], Eastcote and Dalscote [SP 65 SE 31] of which the first two are mentioned in Domesday.
