Summary
Group of undated cropmarks including enclosures. A flint scatter has also been recorded in this field. Geophysical survey failed to find any evidence of the cropmarks. Complex of possible Prehistoric or Roman enclosures and ditches were visible as cropmarks on air photographs in 1979 and 1982.

{1} Geophysical survey failed to detect an oval-shaped enclosure which cropmarks suggested to lie in the northern part of the survey area. It has, however, demonstrated a strong coincidence between the north-eastern corner of the cropmark and the angled junction between two abutting furlongs of ridge and furrow. This suggests that the enclosure is perhaps a spurious one, with the cropmark representing a chance combination of furrows and other features.
{2} Ditch and sub-rectangular enclosure recorded on AP in 1979.
{3} A linear ditch was recorded on AP at (SP974715) in 1982.
