Abstract/Summary

As the result of a successful planning application being granted to the Barn at 36 High Street, Easton on the Hill, a level RCHME III survey has been requested. The application relates to the demolition and rebuild of the barn for domestic purposes. The barn c18th century has a stone fabric with a slate roof, the barn has an attached stable that incorporates a dovecot. Much of the investigation has been dependant on the fabric of the building, original features and O/s and estate maps.
