Abstract/Summary

MOLA Northampton was commissioned by CgMs Consulting to undertake a Level 1 photographic survey of a former farmhouse and a complex of associated agricultural buildings at Shenley Farm, Crick, ahead of the planned demolition of the structures. The site formerly operated as a dairy farm and retained a number of modern cow sheds and a milking parlour. The farmhouse dates to the mid-19th century, with a number of modern alterations and some internal changes. Other surveyed buildings included a modern garage and a mid-19th-century potting shed and former stable or store. The survey area was found to be derelict, overgrown and in a state of disrepair.
