Full Description
{1} The farm, which is not listed, likely dates to the mid-19th century and is first depicted on
the Ordnance Survey map of 1885. The range of buildings associated with the farmhouse include a workshop, store, potting shed, milking parlour and barns.
The original layout of the site seems to have survived relatively intact until the late 20th century when many of the former outbuildings were demolished to allow the construction of the modern cattle sheds. The site is fairly typical of its type, demonstrating an ad-hoc development as necessity and technological innovation dictated, with remnants of historical ranges surviving around modern, fit for purpose structures.
