Abstract/Summary

The survey covered c215ha of land and revealed six discrete areas of Iron Age to Roman rural settlement, a possible medieval or post-medieval enclosure and the possible site of a Second World War aircraft crash. Medieval ridge and furrow cultivation was also detected across the great majority of the survey area.
