Abstract/Summary
A magnetometer survey of 3.5 hectares of land west Haddon Road, East Haddon has recorded numerous magnetic responses that have been interpreted as being of archaeological interest. A series of rectilinear enclosures with internal subdivisions, ring ditches, pits and possible Bronze Age barrows are all visible in the magnetic data. These correspond with a group of cropmarks that are recorded in the HER. In addition, there are several uncertain amorphous responses which could also be of interest. Ridge and furrow ploughing has been detected in the survey along with an area of magnetic disturbance which is likely to be due to modern landscaping.
