Abstract/Summary

A magnetometer survey of approximately two hectares, across two survey areas, at Grovelands Business Park, Northamptonshire, has produced several results of archaeological interest. Various rectilinear anomalies and linear trends have been detected, along with several curvilinear responses, which are likely representations of enclosures, ring ditches, and a trackway. Numerous pit-like responses appear across the site, generally located within or inclose proximity to enclosures. The HER data has identified several of these features from aerial imagery and has categorised them as possible prehistoric enclosures, Bronze Age Barrows and Bronze Age pit-groups.
