Abstract/Summary

MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) was commissioned to conduct a geophysical survey on c3ha of land at Litchfield Farm, Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire. The survey detected a few features of archaeological interest, comprising a series of poorly defined ditches, of uncertain date. Medieval or post-medieval ridge and furrow was detected in the western portion of the survey area, while evidence of more modern disturbance, most likely caused by 19th and 20th century quarrying, could be seen in the east.
