Abstract/Summary
During June and July 2024 ten geotechnical test pits and subsequently four trial trenches were excavated within the land at 4 Waterside off St Peter’s Way. The trial trenching identified the remains of an ironstone building, buried soils, pits and deposits likely relating to Northampton’s Town defences.
