Abstract/Summary

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by the Oxford Archaeological Unit, on behalf of the Duchy of Lancaster, on land to the north of Higham Ferrers. A mid-late Bronze Age ditch was identified. Anglo-Saxon occupation, comprising ditches, pits, postholes and possible sunken featured buildings were encountered.
